Department of Economics

Subject of Economics is started at General level from 01/07/1991 with few Students. At special level Subject was started from 1995-96 MA I (Economics) started in 2018-19. The Economics Department have been filled with qualified staff since the PG Department was introduced in 2018-19. So far in Economics Department Assistant Professors served. Student and faculty published Their Research Papers. After completing their education in the department, more than 70 students are successfully working in different Government, Semi Government and private institutions in different position. 

Various activities are organized for the students in the department.

  1. In 2008 organized seminar on syllabus restructuring.
  2. Expert lecture series
  3. In 2019-20 organized National Level Seminar on Economic Slowdown: Causes, Effects and Remedies
  4. 2020-21 in the year organized NET/SET Workshop to all PG Level Students.
  5. In 2002 Workshop on how to join sprinkler set.
  6. In 8 September 2021 organized online webinar on Basic Concepts in Research Methodology.
